1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Sequoia Travel's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Booking Terms

2.1 Reservation Process

A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email from us and full payment has been processed. Prices are subject to availability and may change until the booking is confirmed.

2.2 Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed on our website.

2.3 Travel Documents

You are responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documents. Sequoia Travel is not liable for entry denial due to incorrect or missing documentation.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
  • 15-29 days before departure: 50% refund
  • 7-14 days before departure: 25% refund
  • Less than 7 days: No refund

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email. The date of receipt determines the refund amount.

4. Changes by Sequoia Travel

We reserve the right to modify tour itineraries due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. If significant changes are necessary, we will notify you and offer alternatives or a full refund.

5. Liability Limitations

Sequoia Travel acts as an intermediary between you and service providers (hotels, airlines, local operators). We are not liable for:

  • Acts of third-party service providers
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics)
  • Personal injury or loss of property during tours
  • Flight delays or cancellations by airlines

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. Sequoia Travel can provide recommendations upon request.

7. Health & Safety

You must disclose any medical conditions or dietary requirements at the time of booking. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to travel and have received necessary vaccinations.

8. Code of Conduct

Travelers are expected to behave respectfully towards local cultures, environments, and fellow travelers. We reserve the right to remove participants who behave inappropriately without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Sequoia Travel and protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration or the appropriate courts.
